PET PHARMACOKINETICS COURSE 2010

This year, the PET Pharmacokinetics course will be held in Drymen by Loch Lomond in Scotland just north of Glasgow prior to the Neuroreceptor Mapping Meeting. Participants for this residential course will arrive on the evening of Sunday 18th July, The course will start on the morning of Monday 19th July and finish at midday Wednesday 21st.

The PET Pharmacokinetics course is designed for anyone who would like to gain a better understanding of the principles involved in PET kinetic modelling. It is appropriate for physicians, graduate students and researchers with a range of backgrounds. There will be lectures as well as hands-on computer exercises.

• Basic Kinetic Modelling Principles
• Basic Pharmacological Principles
• Single Tissue Compartment Models
• Two Tissue Compartment Models
• Neuroreceptor Modelling
• Reference Tissue Approaches and Modelling
• Simplified Approaches Including Linear Methods and Steady-State Principles
